Memoire: The circulation of scientific knowledge through the medical journal of Bogotá in the late
19th century.
My research focuses on the analysis of scientific practices and theoretical knowledge in specific cultural settings. I am particularly interested in the intersections of forms of power, such as institutional power structures and science (natural history) in the nineteenth century South America.
