Sara McDougall, medieval historian with a focus on gender and justice, will give a workshop that focuses on the role that sex and gender played in medieval justice and law, and the stereotypes of medieval misogyny that still prevail today. We shall analyse sources from the late medieval period and discuss the criminalisation of women in history and today. The workshop will be held in English.
