While many academic journals, bibliographies and other research resources do not have a very specific emphasis, there are some with a particular thematic or temporal focus. A selection of the latter is listed here by: 1) the four historical epochs which make up the different modules of the History Department’s curriculum; 2) the History Department’s thematic specialisations; 3) various other areas of historical research.
