SUMMARY:Digital Toolbox for Historians: Basics in Digital History
DESCRIPTION:As historians in a digital age\, we all work with digital tools
  – often without being aware of it or realizing their full potential. Th
 e course shows PhD students the different possibilities and potentials of 
 working with digital tools. It raises awareness that these tools can only 
 be used productively in combination with scientific methods and questions\
 , and teaches the corresponding skills. At the same time\, the fundamental
 s of data collection\, processing and storage will be taught\, for qualita
 tive as well as quantitative work with sources and data.\\r\\nThe event wi
 ll take place on December 11th\, January 22nd\, and February 12th\, 2025\,
  each from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. As part of the course\, there is an opportunit
